Information on diagnosis, symptoms, treatments and prevention of common equine diseases is presented. Students will learn how physiological, nutritional and morphological defects, along with bacteria, protozoa, viruses and fungi can harm horses. Seventeen common diseases are outlined to analyze proper ways of keeping horses safe and disease free.

Horse Evaluation: Hunter Under Saddle

This hybrid presentation details all factors used to evaluate hunter under saddle. A collegiate-level equestrian team head coach explains how to correctly judge hunter under saddle, while also exhibiting various faults to demonstrate how each should be judged. This hybrid lesson is an excellent instructional tool for students who are learning how to judge or for those who are planning to show their horses in the hunter under saddle class.
